Babeth Lafon

Berlin-based Parisian Babeth Lafon studied graphic design, publishing and advertising in Paris and went on to work for high-profile clients such as Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar and L'Oréal. In 2010 she decided to dedicate herself to illustration and published her first book ‘Une Demoiselle’ in 2013. Babeth draws inspiration from Oriental culture, nature and everyday life. She uses distinctive colour palettes, unusual framing and rich textures to capture emotions and create atmospheric, yet bold, works of art.
