Coco Chanel

CoCollagen are the works of mixed media artist Coco Maecenas. Coco collects magazine clippings, photographs, sweet wrappers, leaves and other eye-catching bits and pieces, combining them with watercolour, acrylics and crayon. Her lively, detailed portraits of women explore different moments and moods created by interaction of paper and colour. Hailing from the German harbour town of Rostock, Coco derives inspiration from everywhere: music, colour, travel memories, cityscapes, and the people she encounters in Berlin, the city she now calls home.
