My art reveals my feelings and thoughts in the moment it was created.
Mark Ashkenazi
With a crackle, a pop and lashings of colour, Mark Ashkenazi’s prints depict the secret lives of superheroes. Following in the footsteps of his pop art heroes Warhol and Lichtenstein, the Brooklyn-based, Israeli-born photographer has turned his sharp eye to graphic illustrations, adding a large dose of comic book inspiration and a pinch of surrealism to his eye-catching works. From Batman to Brit pop, they’re a little bit cheeky, and very fun.
