My dream project is to be more than a footnote in art history.
Doug Smock
Doug Smock was born and raised on the East Coast of the USA and spent many years in Minneapolis, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. His personal art projects are filled with invisible collages, created by painting over old 1950s magazinea. He takes his aesthetic influences from Edward Hopper and David Hockney, as well as classic mid-20th century advertisements, and his work has been published in publications such as The Atlantic Monthly and Playboy.
