Heidi Valkola

Heidi Valkola won her first painting competition at the tender age of two – although would’ve preferred to come second, as the runner’s up prize was a new set of pens. The Helsinki-based artist creates slightly more sophisticated work now, with colours and complex graphic designs influenced by architecture and pop culture. The Finnish artist now works as a product designer and runs her own label for home accessories and jewelry.
