Florian Kolmer began his career in photography in Hamburg in the late 1990s. His work is best characterized as audacious and informal, and his primary form of photography is in the world of fashion, particularly editorials and portraits. He has worked for German clients such as Der Stern magazine and Mercedes Benz, as well as photographing celebrities such as Daniel Brühl, Charlotte Roche and Pharell Williams. He previously lived in London and Sydney, but has now relocated back to his native city.
