About the artist

Flo Klein

A good photo is a photo which you look at for more than a second.

Flo Klein

Munich born artist Flo Klein is an art director and a passionate self-taught photographer. Klein accredits two people with inspiring him to walk through life with a camera in-hand. The first, his father who always took him along to art shows when growing up. The other, Andreas Gursky. After visiting his exhibition, Klein set his mind to getting his first camera. What started as some fun out and about, later turned into a serious hobby. Photography has moved more and more into focus in his life over the years. Today, he never leaves his house without his camera, always antsy that he could miss an opportunity to capture a moment. He perceives the world with a heightened sense of awareness, allowing him to observe things which would normally go unnoticed by others.
