About the artist

Kind of Style

Lover of colors, always looking for the pretty things in life.

Kind of Style

Dutch designer Lonneke de Roos is the founder of the creative studio KIND OF STYLE. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht where she specialised in print design for fashion and interiors. Today she works as a brand designer in a Dutch retail company in Den Bosch. Lonneke founded KIND OF STYLE in 2011 as a diary of her daily inspiration. With time, the prints and patterns, which she still creates for her own pleasure, became a means of spreading happiness in the world on an array of canvases. No techniques off the table when she reaches for her palette. Lonneke is obsessed with finding and creating pretty things; anything from a beautiful sky to the magnificent colours of an exotic piece of fruit can serve as a source of inspiration for her artwork.
