Mia Nissen

Driven by the oceans of the north.

Mia Nissen

Hailing from the far north, Mia has lived in Berlin since 2011, where she works across the disciplines of graphic design and illustration. To create her abstract, geometric mountain landscapes and iceberg oceans she uses a combination of analogue and digital tools. Mia enjoys experimenting with different techniques such as screen printing or wood cutting so as to keep her artistic practice evolving. She finds inspiration and peace along the coastlines of her northern homeland.
