About the artist

Klaus with K

Intuition is personal—just like art. That’s the key to creation of any kind: intuition.

Klaus with K

Ink, watercolour, camera and computer are Klaus with K's main artistic media. Although his work initially seems rather surreal and abstract, a concrete image—such as a wave or a flower—can be distinguished on closer inspection. While his illustrations are made up of intricate lines and sweeping brushstrokes, his nature photography is deliberately out-of-focus and grainy owing to the use of coloured lens filters. To add his finishing touches, Klaus with K refines his images a little on Photoshop—just enough to preserve their fairytale-like quality.
