Isabelle is a Belgian artist based in Portugal. She draws inspiration from the quiet rhythm of daily life. The way light falls gently across a room, the warmth of familiar interiors, or the elegance of simple objects arranged in space. A walk through the fisherman’s town where she lives often sparks new ideas: people sunbathing, friends playing cards, and the details of everyday interiors all become sources of reflection and creation. In her studio, she reflects on these fleeting details and transforms them into compositions that honor stillness, memory, and presence. When she is not painting, she enjoys running, surfing, visiting flea markets, and exploring new places. These experiences, along with the small moments that linger in memory, weave their way into her work, creating pieces that invite others to slow down and connect with the gentle beauty of life.
