For me design is about adding fun to our routine.
Niege Borges
Niege Borges is from southern Brazil where she successfully completed a degree in Graphic Design back in 2011. Based in Brooklyn, her artwork is as colourful as the borough she lives in. Borges illustrates film-inspired dance manuals in her series ‘Dancing Plague of 1518’. The collection is a celebration of a real occurrence in Strasbourg back in the year 1518. In what can probably be considered one of history’s earliest flash mobs, 400 residents of Strasbourg spontaneously hit the streets to break out in dance. As a freelancer Borges has worked for big brands such as Unilever, Ogilvy and IBM.
