About the artist

The White Deer

The best you can do for yourself is to try. If you try and fail, just try again.

The White Deer

Hong Kong based Peony Yip aka The White Deer works full time as a graphic designer, making what she calls ‘silly drawings’ on the side. She explores and combines animal, plant and human subjects with a vast range of media. Whether black and white or brightly coloured, it is the delicate and intricate details that characterize her works of art. The White Deer is an experimenter at heart, always on a path of discovery and exploration of new ideas. She doesn’t consider herself an artist or an illustrator: she sees herself as a creator of things that people can relate to and be inspired by. Simply beautiful.
