Eschewing the picture-perfect cobbled streets and quaint cafes of his native Paris, Samuel Eckert photographs the grittier side of the City of Light. When he’s not documenting the way that people interact with the architecture of their city, the photographer and illustrator creates images inspired by street art. Graffiti, in particular the so-called Ignorant Style, and the work of cartoonist Blexbolex heavily influenced Samuel’s distinctive style. In addition to these artistic projects he also runs a graphic design agency.
