Freelancer, alternative practitioner, book junkie. Verena Selbach aka un-typical is a woman with a wide range of interests. She studied visual communication in Aachen and has been working as a freelance artist since 2009. She transforms famous poetry and literary quotations into clearly conceived, typographic prints; when she takes photographs, on the other hand, things are usually rather fast and random: The actual character of the snapshots only becomes visible after editing. Verena lives and works in her home village near Cologne.
