About the design
Created while Klee was teaching at the Bauhaus, the piece reflects his deep interest in color relationships and balance within a structured, grid-like format. The title refers to the contrast between “static” darker tones on the edges and more “dynamic” luminous colors toward the center, exploring how color gradation can create visual movement and tension.
