Tanja Schaub's pictures are characterised by a fascinating multi-layered quality. The graphic design graduate relies on complex techniques and layers of meaning, works with both digital and analogue media and combines sketches on paper with motifs that she brings to life on her mobile phone display. The result? Expressive blocks of colour that meet abstract patterns and soft, flowing shapes - and incidentally pay tribute to the beauty of Mother Nature.
