"The sense of bliss I felt when drawing as a child is still a driving force today."
Catherine Aguilar had a multi-lingual upbringing in her native Switzerland - training that stood her in good stead as she working as a translator to fund her graphic design studies in Zürich. Now she is reaping the benefits of these labours, as she now works in London as a full–time freelance artist, working for clients such as Time Out magazine, Hallmark Publishing and the London Art Group. Her illustrations and designs are light and summery, recalling the vast, relaxing wanders around the city that she uses for inspiration.
