Dutch illustrator Karin Bijlsma was on track to pursuing a career in office management, until she found herself venturing off the beaten path, seeking out creativity more and more frequently. Teaching herself the tricks and tools of Illustrator and Photoshop, she followed her intuition and took a right turn. Today she works as a freelance illustrator. In general, she finds true expression in the creation of whimsical illustrations and colourful patterns.
