Joachim Host has the desire to do "something". He doesn't know what it is - but it motivates him. He describes this urge as a kind of infinite belief in a very specific thing, which goes hand in hand less with rational thinking and more with blind faith. The Danish artist's work is characterised by geometric shapes and patterns, coupled with a strong interest in interdependence and balance. Joachim's designs always revolve around a conceptual approach that plays with opposites in a humorous and almost loving way.
