"Clear shapes, striking colors, rhythmic style: that's what makes good design."
Stephan Kochs works as an Managing Creative Director for his own agency, and creates digital images which are firmly rooted in the design aesthetic of the 1940s, 50s and 60s. He has a passion for pop culture and music, and his work displays these influences alongside a love of clean lines and colours. His work also nods to the history of design, with clear references to greats such as Saul Bass, Paul Rand, Wim Couwel, Walter Herweg and Yasuku Kamekura, and his leaflets and posters often reference his home town of Aachen, Germany.
