Animalised people, humanised animals: before Francesca Miele began creating unusual characters from countless snippets of experiences, encounters and situations under the name Mrs Pepper's Design, the Italian designer worked as an editor for 15 years. In her "Natt" series, she combines her love of Nordic minimalism with her Italian temperament and brings to life the "inner animal" that she believes is in every human being with the help of pop culture quotes, British humour and a sunny Mediterranean disposition.
