"Back then, I started photographing operating theatres for medical journals. I still approach my subjects with the same scientific attitude today, but now I'm more interested in"
Michael Belhadi's career began with photos of operations for medical journals. And to this day, the photographer is fascinated by everything that lies beneath the surface - but he has now made the anatomy of cities his motif. He takes unusual angles and thus emphasises the beauty of seemingly everyday places. From moving snapshots in the underground to the architectural meeting of East and West to the completely frozen-looking cinema curtain, he captures his home city of Berlin in a striking way.
