"I drew a lot of Ninja Turtles as a kid. Never stopped."
When a friend posted one of Marc Allante’s paintings on a social media site it gained over two million views and launched his art career. Although the Hong Kong-based artist is self-taught, creativity seems to run in his family: his mother worked in fashion design and his uncle is an animator. Marc merges Asian and European styles—blending Chinese inks with European watercolour and pen techniques—to create colourful pieces inspired by the cosmopolitan cities he has lived in around the world.
