"Pop will save us."
Behind Van Orton Design are two twin brothers from Turin, Italy. Together, they are shaking up the art scene with works that look like garishly colourful pop culture icons in the style of leaded stained glass church windows. It all started when the brothers reinterpreted cult films from the 80s with their work. The sequel: clients such as ESPN, Warner Brothers and the Rolling Stones. Van Orton recently showed their work at the Netflix & Dreamworks Voltron Exhibition in Los Angeles.
