Sofia Rodrigues lives on the beautiful island of Madeira - no wonder nature is so present in her work. Fresh wind, starry skies, animals, the colours of the flora and fauna - all of this inspires her digital illustrations. Fantasy elements and music also play a major role in the Portuguese artist's often surreal, occasionally tongue-in-cheek works. She is also working more and more extensively with film and photography.
