"Books, cats, cupcakes. Cheerful and yet a little cynical."
Oh Darling aka Jill Castillo chose art as her main subject at school and then went on to study graphic design. The illustrator from Toronto later moved to Berlin, where she discovered exciting art and street art on every corner. She devotes her fascination for nudes and portraits to oil paintings; for digital works, she prefers to combine clear typography with hand-drawn and then scanned illustrations. The finished picture emerges from a joyful play with words and associations.
