"I am more creative, more focussed, more patient and freer since becoming a mother."
The works by Miles of Light bring the outdoors indoors: All of the works have a close connection to nature. The Argentinian-born artist moved to the USA with her husband in 2004, where she - a trained graphic designer - began experimenting with photography and took her first photographs of botanical beauties. In the form of photographs, Miles of Light pays a lot of attention to found objects from nature while taking up little space - before she began to turn her treasures into artistic motifs, pretty plants, stones or feathers began to pile up in the artist's home.
