"My daily life urges and inspires me to paint. The result is just a reflection of what I feel."
Silvia Pelissero, alias agnes-cecile, gained a foothold in the art scene at an early age. The young Roman woman taught herself to paint. In her portraits, which are as intense as they are fragile, figurative elements merge with abstract ones and razor-sharp details with blending areas of colour. She experiments with delicate and multi-layered watercolours, large-format colour explosions in acrylic and constantly new techniques.
