My name is Dasha. I am an illustrator and was born in Russia. With my work I want to show the Russia I remember from my childhood - the Siberia of my babushka, the small village, the endless landscapes, the nature full of silence and vastness. Especially in times when political Russia is so present, I would like to remind you that Russia is not just politics. It is also warmth, hospitality, cordiality and a quiet beauty that remains with me to this day. My illustrations are an attempt to keep these memories alive - the romantic, yearning image of a country that is more than just headlines.
