Copenhagen-based artist Maya Gürtler is a self-taught illustrator. Whilst her background is actually in digital media, her heart skips a beat when pen touches paper. Driven by her curiosity, her work is an elaborate interplay between light and shadows. Using her hands to make her mark, Maya draws attention to the delicate beauty that lies in the depth and detail of each of her subjects.
