Terry Fan
Old analog photos speak to me. The blurrier, the better.
Before he could even talk, Terry Fan used to doodle aeroplanes on walls. Years later he studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto, where he experimented with creative writing, painting, sculpture, photography, film and illustration. Although he is involved in a number of creative pursuits, his imaginative illustrations have received a lot of attention. Rendered using a combination of traditional and digital techniques, his surreal, often satirical images are influenced by images found in children’s storybooks.
