My name is Andrea Haase and I do have a degree in interior design - but after completing my studies I turned directly to art. Over the years I have developed many skills and styles, but I never wanted to commit myself to one style that defines me as an artist. I'm just too versatile and curious to be too fixed and love trying new things, learning different techniques and experimenting with materials and tools. I'm like a child in that respect and art is my playground. That's why my portfolio is a mix of vintage and modern, analog and digital, realistic and surreal, in different artistic techniques, themes and eras. But I have a particular fondness for anything old and historic - old botanical illustrations, historical maps, ornaments and drawings from times gone by. Finding, editing and using these finds in my compositions is a great pleasure for me. I love the stories these old time documents tell and the way they find their way back into the present in modern products. So this shop is dedicated to my vintage passion and I hope you like it! My work is now licensed worldwide and I am very happy that I am making the lives of many people around the globe a little more colorful.
