"Now I am here, I can't imagine doing anything else."
Dustin Janko, a native of Hamburg, Germany, had a colourful route to his life as a photographer. On graduating from high school in 2003, he undertook training to become an optician, but it was a different kind of optics altogether that caught his eye. He would skip work to sneak into the university darkrooms, masquerading as a student, and, using a camera given to him by a film director, took up photography. He’s barely been without his new eye-glass since, and the results speak for themselves.
