"Nature is my source of inspiration and all my ideas have their origin in nature."
Patterns that nature could hardly have produced more beautifully are Mariëlle Leenders' speciality. Since 2000, when the Dutchwoman graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, she has been working as a designer, photographer and creative consultant. Her speciality: nature-inspired photopatterns that appear as natural as possible despite digital manipulation. Mariëlle not only wants her work to be aesthetically pleasing, but also to make the viewer aware of nature's need for protection.
