About the design
Ringo Starr was born in the Dingle area of Liverpool to a working-class family. He faced serious health issues in his childhood, including peritonitis and tuberculosis, which kept him hospitalized for long periods. These experiences affected his education but also gave him time to discover a love for music.
He began learning drums in his late teens and found joy in playing along to records. His first real musical opportunity came with a local band called Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, which gained popularity in Liverpool and Hamburg, Germany.
