"Art allows me to express myself freely. I create as I breathe, spontaneously, as soon as an image pops into my head. Always with my authenticity and my different tools."
Constance Helin is the artist behind Cohe studio. Her graphic universe is as eclectic as it is expressive. She studied Plastic and Digital Arts at university, enabling her to explore visual creation in a wide variety of ways.
To create her works, she remains faithful to traditional tools, attached to contact with the material, working with a variety of tools that make her distinctive, such as paint, charcoal, pastel, pen, wooden and coloured pencils and felt-tip pens.
Her palette ranges from black, through soft colours, to bright ones, giving life to each work with a unique energy depending on the colours used. Constance plays with colour and simple shapes in her work, breaking away from reality and standards. A true free spirit, she draws her inspiration from her view of life and its surroundings, from her own being, and from her imagination. Constance's work focuses mainly on nature and flowers, but also on faces and bodies; objects, settings and scenes from life; the abstract and the imaginary.
