Eilat is Israel's southernmost city, a busy port and popular resort at the northern tip of the Red Sea, on what is known in Israel as the Gulf of Eilat. The city is a popular destination for domestic and international tourism. Still, I found it interesting how almost any site in the city seemed strange when the surrounding mountains act as the background.
