Cocktails not only taste good, they also look good. British designer Nick Barclay quickly realised this when he moved to Sydney in 2009 and was poured his first Negroni (gin, vermouth, Campari and a slice of orange). It was love at first sip. As strong as some of the mixes to which Barclay makes a graphic declaration of love with his cocktail series is the expression with which other of his works have already stirred up the design scene. The artist has also put his minimalist stamp on art classics by Van Gogh or Botticelli as well as cult album covers by music greats such as the Beatles, David Bowie or Daft Punk. Always true to the motto "the more reduced, the better".
