About the design
Cabins by the fjord poster
In this watercolor painting, two small red cabins sit near the water’s edge, nestled on a rocky shore at the base of tall, jagged mountains. The cliffs rise steeply behind them, painted in textured strokes of grey, blue, and purple. The fjord itself reflects cool tones of turquoise and deep blue, suggesting calm, clear water. The sky above is soft and atmospheric, with hints of light breaking through. The style is loose and expressive, with visible brushwork and abstracted forms that suggest rather than define, giving the scene a dreamlike, emotional quality.
