"I toured Japan in the Motards, drove off a cliff in Oaxaca, & was shot at in San Antonio. The rest is history."
David Head discovered his calling as an artist when he realised that he was always the one who designed the posters for band gigs in his rock'n'roll clique in Austin. After studying graphic design in Chicago, he became an art director. Even though, as an art director in New York, he designs interactive advertising campaigns for large agencies, music and handmade items remain his passion. From official Mumford and Sons posters to abstract works and photo collages, his images are characterised by his ability to breathe great dynamism into them. They have been featured in books by Gestalten and the Basheer Graphic Group, as well as in HOW Magazine and Communication Arts Magazine.
