Illustrator Lesja Chernish grew up in Kiev, where she studied fashion design. She now lives in Berlin and has a degree in animation from the Babelsberg Film Academy. Lesja works both analogue and digitally and often likes to use her favourite colour, black. She is primarily inspired by the world of femininity and portrays "the woman as a human being".
