Powerful and expressive, this acrylic painting captures the raw, mystical essence of the bull. The skull, both imposing and eroded by time, seems to emerge from a world between reality and abstraction. Vivid shades of blue, orange and red flow in vibrant drips, infusing the work with a wild, spiritual energy.
The textured background, marked by cracks and earthy tones, evokes the imprint of the past, contrasting with the intensity of contemporary colours. "L'Esprit du Taureau" is an ode to the indomitable strength of this emblematic animal, a symbol of the bull.

"As a painter based in Reims, I'm very involved in the animal cause. All my work is entirely handmade. I also create custom-made portraits from your photos."
All my work is entirely handmade. From their conception in a sketchbook, where my imagination needs to express itself, to the final brushstroke, each colour tells a story. In particular, I like to play with subliminal messages, those that you only discover when you linger and try to find what I wanted to express. I don't paint beauty for beauty's sake, but I try to tell stories, even through things that at first glance seem insipid or uninteresting. Based in Reims, France, I specialise in portraiture, but I also like to paint the landscapes that surround me, and denounce human behaviour in order to question the world.
