About the design
Translated with DeepL
This picture shows the iconic tram line 49 in Budapest as it rolls over the Liberty Bridge. The view through the metallic struts of the bridge draws the focus to the orange-coloured carriage, which perfectly matches the nostalgic atmosphere of the city. The combination of classic architecture, soft daylight and urban life tells of the connection between history and modernity in the Hungarian capital. Ideal for lovers of urban photography and Budapest fans.

"Discovering the world doesn't just mean seeing places to me, but experiencing stories and sharing them with you."
My images reflect exactly what I want to convey with fokusfernweh: the stories behind the places I travel to. With my photographs, I capture the vastness and tranquillity of unique natural landscapes - be it the majestic Namib Desert, the rugged coast of the Canary Islands or the gigantic Okavango Delta. In the cities, I try to bring the atmosphere to life. Whether it's winding alleyways, historic buildings or the colourful hustle and bustle of markets, such as in Tokyo, Rethymno or Alghero - I want you to feel as if you were there yourself. I am particularly fascinated by cultural highlights, such as the radiant architecture of the Kinkakuji temple in Kyoto or the colourful facades of the old town of Bosa. My pictures should be more than just snapshots - they should tell the stories that touch and inspire me when I'm travelling.
