"Strong lines, soft shapes and a wild imagination."
The German-Swiss illustrator Anja Denz uses clear lines to portray self-confident women against a gentle rainforest backdrop. After completing her Master of Arts in Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts, Anja initially worked as a graphic designer before finally devoting herself entirely to her great love: drawing. The creation process is always the same: first she draws, then adds the final touch via Photoshop. Her works have already been shown in many exhibitions in Switzerland and the renowned Lürzer Archive recently named her one of the top 200 illustrators in the world. Due to her passion for plants, it seems more than logical that she names a botanical garden as her dream client.
