"I’m an illustrator of those little pleasures life gives you."

In a little house in beautiful Bordeaux (South-West of France) Cécile Valletoux Amey, aka La belette rose, creates art. Passionate about drawing from a young age, she learned everything about painting and design from her talented grandfather. She is a self-described Jack of All Trades with a colourful career, having worked as a university professor, a publicist and a journalist before returning to her first love. Her artwork is bright and playful and is inspired by the little things that give us joy.
