About the design
Marta brought a yellow donut to the ocean and declared it a sovereign nation. For three blissful hours she ruled with oversized sunglasses and a striped swimsuit that had seen more summer festivals than a retired pop star. No people, no noise, only polite gulls and excellent buoyancy. Original painting of a lone woman drifting on a bright yellow donut float across a vast, calm, teal sea. A vintage-striped swimsuit, wide sunhat and round sunglasses give the woman a retro, playful feel while the abundant negative space and soft texture create a calm, airy composition.
