"I want to create designs that make people smile - and at the same time reflect my childhood nostalgia of the 80s and 90s."
Even as a child, Scottish artist Nick Cocozza drew pictures of his favourite hip-hop albums and was also a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. To this day, illustrations of well-known cartoon characters, hip-hop artists and sneaker brands make up an important part of Nick's artistic repertoire. His work is sometimes iconic, sometimes ironic, but always incredibly creative. The Berlin-based illustrator combines digital and hand-drawn elements and has already been exhibited internationally.
