This stained glass study for the Tribe of Judah is part of Marc Chagall’s celebrated series for the Hadassah Medical Center Synagogue in Jerusalem. Created in the 1960s, Chagall’s work merges biblical symbolism, Jewish mysticism, and modernist expression in glowing color and fluid form.
