Karoline works as a freelance designer & illustrator and is the creative head of moDeern Design Studio. As a true Nordic Deern, she loves minimalist Scandinavian designs - but also floral, playful and folkloristic elements from all over the world. She lives and works in Hamburg with her small family. She often draws her illustrations digitally on the iPad, but also in the classic way with ink on paper. She loves to combine digital and analogue working methods and enjoys experimenting with new techniques, shapes and colours.
